This year I have crossed paths with a possum several times. Having not seen them in our area previously, it occurred to me that perhaps possum was visiting with the purpose of delivering a message. I decided to sit down, open the channel, and ask possum to communicate his message. Here is what he had to say:
“I came to tell you that change is coming. A new day is dawning and you will thrive and prosper. Even though things may look dark and bleak, I promise you this is a very temporary situation. Follow my example. When you feel stressed, go to sleep. Rest and be refreshed. There is no need to stress and fret. All is well. The sun will still rise again in the morning and set faithfully each evening. Your world will continue to turn on its axis. Forces are gathering to create a great change in your world. Do not be frightened. This change will be wondrous and represents a new age of prosperity and peace. It will not be so for your entire planet, but it will be so for those who believe and are open to receiving.”
“Do not fear those who are different. You all have your special gifts. Allow each other to develop. Nurture and encourage this development. There is everything to be gained from keeping an open and accepting attitude. Even the least of you are deserving. Never forget you are a child of the universe and you were created to do and be abundant in all things. Your joy knows no limits. Allow it to expand. Do not be a captive to fear. Do not deprive yourself of the magnificent future that is yours for the taking. Just as I come as a sign of the changes which are on their way, so too will others. Watch for them and listen to their message. They will help guide you on your new journey. There are more amazing possibilities that lie ahead than you can possibly imagine. Open your arms and heart and accept them.”
At this point the communication was interrupted but I felt sure possum had more to say. Today I communicated with him again and he delivered the remainder of the message:
“It is good that you consult with me for I have much to share. As I travel through your territory I watch and listen. I see the dark clouds that hang over your homes and even your bodies. Some of you have managed to avoid these clouds. To you I say keep it up. You are on the true path to well being. To those who are living under the clouds I say rise up and look beyond the clouds. There is ample opportunity for you if you take the time to seek it out. Do not let anyone else write your life story. It is totally in your hands. Even though you may at times feel despair, do not give into it. Always seek out the silver lining and keep your eyes firmly focused on it. Do not allow the black clouds to become your reality. As you focus on the silver lining it will expand and eventually obliterate the black cloud entirely. This is as it was meant to be. I do not understand why some of you choose to be powerless when you have within you the ability to control your destiny. I will continue watching and listening and hoping that you manage to walk out of the dark clouds into the bright sunshine of tomorrow’s opportunities. Your actions affect my world as well as yours. Choose wisely and live well. I’ll be in the neighborhood if you need to ask me anything else. Toodleoo.”
